L'actualisation du classement national dépend des données transmises par les organisateurs de compétitions. Les résultats d'une compétition récente peuvent donc apparaître avec un certain délai.
Le classement national est calculé sur la moyenne des trois meilleurs résultats obtenus durant la saison dans la catégorie. Tant que la saison est en cours, la moyenne porte sur les résultats déjà disponibles (un, deux ou trois) ; dès que la saison est terminée, la somme des trois meilleurs résultats est divisée par trois. Les athlètes à égalité de moyenne partagent le même rang. Le classement des clubs est établi sur la moyenne des moyennes des athlètes du club dans la catégorie.
